Schutz criticized Ellison’s handling of Minnesota’s fraud while offering systematic change in the Attorney General’s office. \
| MINNEAPOLIS – In case you missed it, on Monday, acclaimed attorney Ron Schutz joined the Brian Kilmeade Show on Fox News Radio to discuss the ongoing developments of fraud in the state. WATCH HERE OR BELOW: |
| During the conversation, Schutz aptly identified the reasons that fraud was so pervasive in the state of Minnesota. “The lack of oversight, lack of accountability, and too much money floating around? So one of the problems that we've got here in Minnesota is that our one-party-controlled state government spends too much money,” Schutz said during the interview. “They basically see a social problem that they want to fix, and they don't take a smart or surgical approach to the problem. They just throw money at it. And when they do that, you've got people that see all that money and say, I want some of that, and they're more than willing to commit fraud.” Schutz was also quick to shut down any attempts by Ellison to claim his role in combatting fraud, noting, “I'm sorry, he has not prosecuted a single systematic fraud case, like feeding our future. And the reason he hasn't done that is he doesn't want to offend his power base. If you look at the transcript of the meeting that he had in December 2021 with several people from the East African Community who came into his office to complain about how they were being treated.” Schutz goes on to say, “One of the things that jumps out at the transcript, and that hasn't gotten a lot of press right now, and I can read it to you here, because I've got it, and it's a statement made by somebody who's a political operative and fundraiser, and he says, if you are secure in your donor base, and if you are secure in your power base, you can act the way you want. And that's one of the reasons Keith Ellison is as arrogant as he is, because he thinks he's secure in his donor base. He thinks he's secure in his power base. And. He's really not answerable to the people.” To hear Ron’s full interview with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade, click here or above. |
